Kodak announced today that it has appointed Orion as a distributor for its packaging solutions in Saudi Arabia.
Orion, which positions itself as a technical consulting company in packaging, printing and plastics, will supply Kodak Flexcel NX technology including the Flexcel NX system and Flexcel NX plates.
Komal Sharma, Kodak‘s managing director for emerging geographies, EAMER, said flexo is gaining market share in Saudi Arabia packaging, which he described as “a fast-growth industry”.
“We are delighted to be able to bring our expansive portfolio to this region
with the highly valuable support from Orion,” he said.
“Its expertise will help increase our reach into the segment.”
Mohannad Naqqasha, owner of Orion, said his company sees “significant growth opportunities for this technology in the region”.
